There is no locked class select. You are what the skill tree says after the 1.0 refund. These pages are lanes through that tree, not official roles.

Lanes, not classes
The Skills screenshot shows branches labeled Battlemage, Ranger, Warrior, Guardian, and others. You can buy nodes from more than one. A “best class” post that tells you to delete the other branches is fighting the UI. Pick a weapon you like, then read the page that matches it.

Flame Pact, Hunter, and Blood Rose are found or crafted in Enshrouded, not sold as a tier list. This page only names sets the wiki documents.

The Enshrouded 1.0 mage rework adds nine spells, summons, and 22 tier-7 eternal versions. Wand heavy attacks can pierce and interrupt weaker foes.

An Enshrouded ranger build uses the bow nodes. 1.0 added Fire, Shock, and Bone eternal arrows, and every eternal arrow can be upgraded.

The Enshrouded skill tree refunded your points at 1.0. Levels still grant points, Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells add more, and a reset costs Runes.

An Enshrouded tank build emphasizes defense, block, and Kick. Nemesis and Arch Nemesis affect enemy attention without establishing a guaranteed taunt.

An Enshrouded warrior build is the melee side of the skill tree: Warrior and Barbarian nodes, two-handers, and Kick. “Enshrouded 2” is not a two-handed guide.
Questions
Did 1.0 delete my old build?
It reset the tree and returned the points. The character stayed.
