Where to look, in order

The FAQ covers the broad rules: offline play, the 16-player PC cap, and the lack of a demo. Zendesk holds the procedure articles. Discord and the Steam discussions are how players compare notes. A generic PC pass still helps: update the GPU driver, verify the game files in Steam, close overlays, and allow the game through the antivirus. Those steps come from the support material, not from a tuner app.

• Enshrouded Bugs and Workarounds

  Enshrouded 1.0.0.2 fixes world settings and Nvidia fog but skips corrupted character migration. Read dated bug status and the earlier audio workaround.

• Change the Language in Enshrouded

  Enshrouded includes Japanese, Korean, and both Chinese scripts. Steam lists 15 languages; the older FAQ lists 14. No language-patch download is needed.

• Enshrouded Join and Host Fixes

  If Enshrouded cannot find the host, match the build and the mods, and set the host’s Steam privacy to public. Solo play does not need a session.

• Enshrouded Crash Fixes

  Enshrouded 1.0.0.2 targets crashes in travel, water, shared adventures and save migration. Read the remaining corrupted-character warning before changing saves.

• Enshrouded on Linux and Proton

  Steam lists no native Linux build of Enshrouded. On 16 October 2026 ProtonDB called it gold, best report platinum, 346 reports. Steam Deck is Verified.

• Enshrouded FPS, Stutter, and Shaders

  Enshrouded 1.0 improved point-light shadows, memory use, and Steam Deck performance. Official Update 8 notes confirm DLSS and FSR upscaling support.

• Enshrouded Save File Location

  The 1.0 Enshrouded client saves under Saved Games, keen games, Enshrouded. Back up characters and worlds separately. Servers keep their own savegame folder.
