Steam is Windows. PS5 is a separate purchase and a separate save. A PS5 copy does not produce a Steam key, and a Steam key does not unlock the console version. Xbox Series X|S is named on the FAQ as a future platform. The Enshrouded channel, on 25 June 2026, aimed that version at spring 2027. That aim is not a cross-play announcement. Character transfer between worlds is a same-platform feature described in the FAQ. It is not cross-save between PC and PS5.

Questions

Will Xbox add cross-play?

Keen says cross-platform play is in development but gives no timing estimate in the launch FAQ. The Xbox release target does not by itself confirm cross-play support on that date.

Can I move a PC character to PS5?

Not by any method Keen has published. Do not pay a listing that promises one code for both platforms.
