Is Enshrouded Free?

Enshrouded.net editorial teamChecked 2026-10-16

No. Enshrouded is a paid game. The official FAQ says there is no further public test. A “free download” is not a version Keen ships.

Ways that are actually allowed

Buy it on Steam (Windows) or PS5. Wait for a sale — the US Steam page was 10 percent off on 16 October 2026. GeForce Now can stream the PC copy if you already own it and your PC is below the GPU list. Playing on a friend’s dedicated server still requires your own license.

What this page will not do

We do not link cracks, repacks, trainers, or “free TP” builds. Those files are not the game Keen shipped, and they are a common way to pick up a stealer. If you wanted the game because a video made it look good, the store page is the whole path.

Questions

Is there a demo?

No public demo. The FAQ says there is no other public test planned.

Can I try it on GeForce Now for free?

GeForce Now streams a copy you are entitled to. It is not a free license.
