Steam marks Enshrouded Verified for Deck. You install the Windows build through Steam and play it on the handheld. There is no separate Deck edition.

What Verified means here

Valve’s category is Verified, not Playable or Unsupported. The official support note says you can play on the recommended default settings. 1.0’s changelog adds that handheld, low-end GPU, and Deck performance was improved. Storage is still the 60 GB Steam figure, so check free space before the download.

Controls

The Steam page lists full controller support, including DualShock. Deck uses that gamepad path. The 1.0 notes say ranged aim assist defaults on for controllers and off for mouse. You do not need a community layout to get past the menu.
